A bullet-proof vest, a quantity of ammunition and items which were reported stolen, were found by officers of the Northern Division during an anti-crime exercise conducted in the Pinto district last night.
Officers of the Northern Division Task Force, Area East and the
Pinto Police Post conducted the exercise between 7:00 pm and
10:00 pm, on Wednesday 8th April 2020.
According to top police reports, during the exercise, officers conducted a search of a house in the Pinto district, which resulted in a flat-screen television set and a laptop being found.

The items were reported stolen by a female victim from the district on Monday 6th April 2020.
Officers also found one bullet-proof vest and 27 rounds of
ammunition on the premises.
A warrant is expected to be issued for a man who resides at the house and who was seen fleeing the scene upon arrival of the officers.
Investigations are ongoing.
