The National Security Ministry is reminding all Venezuelan nationals who participated in the Venezuelan Migrant Registration Programme earlier this year (between May 31 and June 14) that registration cards are still being distributed.
In a news release, the ministry is reminding those Venezuelan nationals who have not yet collected their registration cards, that the can now do so at the Immigration Division’s office on Richmond Street in Port of Spain.
According to the ministry, Venezuelan nationals can collect their registration cards there between 8am and 3pm, Monday to Friday.
The ministry notes that they must walk with the receipt given to them when they were registered, along with a valid form of identification—either their passport or Cedula de Población.
The ministry says each person must sign for receiving their own card, and as such, no person will be able to collect a card on behalf of another person.
