Five men have appeared before Chief Magistrate Marcia Ayers-Caesar charged with the double murder of construction workers Andre La Touche and Abiola Noel.
The accused, Seon Barnswell, 21, Michael Findley, 23, Kyle Belgrave, 20, Olatunji Denbow, 25 and Kellon Maxine, 21, appeared before the Port-of-Spain 8th Magistrates’ Court yesterday, Wednesday 18th May, 2016, where the matter was postponed to Tuesday 14th June, 2016.
The victims, La Touche, age 27 and Noel, age 25, of 8th Avenue Barataria and Eastern Quarry Laventille respectively, were gunned down at Eastern Quarry Laventille on Monday 22nd February, 2016.
Homicide Bureau of Investigations Region 1 led the investigations, which also included officers from the Port-of-Spain Division, Criminal Investigation Department, as well as the Inter Agency Task Force, which resulted in the charging of the accused.
