Around 6.45 am an unidentified driver was heading east along the Naparima/Mayaro Road and lost control of the Hilux vehicle which ran off the road and into the yard of Glen Ramdath.
The vechile then shot across the yard into the property of Catherine Mohammed where it collided into the side of the house breaking down the walls and partly stopping in her living room.
Mohammed said that she was very traumatised by the event and was thankful that none of her children was killed.
Apart from the driver, there were four NESC students (3 males and 1 female). They too escaped injury.
Mohammed, who is unemployed, is demanding that the Ministry of National Security move to repair her house as soon as possible as she has no where else to live.
