A Petit Valley man and a teenaged boy have appeared before a Port of Spain Magistrate, charged with the murder of Keon Earl Sylvester, which occurred on Tuesday 22nd May, 2018.
Algernon Gordon, 32, a landscaper, of Simeon Road, Petit Valley and a 16-year-old, were also charged with possession of firearm and ammunition, when they appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Maria Busby Earl-Caddle, in the Port of Spain 8th Magistrates’ Court, on Tuesday 3rd July, 2018.
The matter was postponed to Tuesday 17th July, 2018.
Sylvester, 27, a PH taxi driver, of Covigne Road, Diego Martin, was found dead with bullet wounds about the body, at Hummingbird Circular, Petit Valley, on Tuesday 22nd May, 2018.
Investigations were supervised by ASP (Ag.) Suzette Martin and Insp. Arnold Lutchman, of Homicide Bureau of Investigations, (HBI) Region 1, while Alergnon and the teen were charged by PC Stephen Smith, also of HBI 1, on Tuesday 3rd July, 2018, following advice received from Director of Public Prosecutions, Roger Gaspard SC, on Monday 2nd July, 2018.
