Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley and his family have moved into the official residence of the Prime Minister, adjacent to the Diplomatic Centre in St Ann's.
The Prime Minister moved in on Saturday, becoming the first Prime Minister to occupy the residence in five years,
The Residence and Diplomatic Centre were built by the Urban Development Company of Trinidad and Tobago (Udecott) under former Prime Minister Patrick Manning.
It was first estimated to cost $40 million but later rose to $148 million.
The figure was revised to $175.3 million and later Udecott documents revealed that the cost of the Prime Minister's Residence and Diplomatic Centre as at December last year was an estimated $244 million.
Former Pirme Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar did not occupy the residence during her term in office although at one point, her sister lived there.
