Police seek public assistance with identifying masquerader's body.

The police are seeking the assistance of the public in identifying the body of a female masquerader which was found under a tree at the Queen's Park Savannah.

The following is the police media release:

"The assistance of the public is sought in identifying the body of a woman of Asian descent found today at the Queen's Park Savannah, Port of Spain.

The body is that of a woman about 5’3 tall, petite built, approximately 120lbs, light complexion with brown shoulder length hair, black eyebrows and appears to be between 20-25 years old.

The body was clad in a yellow and teal coloured bikini type costume with a ‘Legacy’ band on the wrist and believed to be from the section “Rhythm”.

There was also a gold coloured ring with a small blue gem on the left middle finger, a silver chain hand band on the left wrist with translucent gems attached and clear coloured glass like band on the right wrist.

The body was found at the Queen's Park Savannah by cleaners employed with the Port of Spain City Corporation at around 9:30am today Wednesday 10th, February, 2016. 

It was later removed to the Forensic Science Centre pending identification.
