Ten arrested in Laventille for possession of marijuana, ammunition

Ten persons were arrested and a quantity of marijuana and assorted ammunition found during an anti-crime exercise, in the Laventille area, by officers of the Inter-Agency Task Force and Port of Spain CID.

Police say officers conducted the exercise under the supervision of Snr. Supt. Radcliff Boxhill, between 4:30 am and 9:30 am on Wednesday 17th May, 2017, at Leau Place, Lovell Place, St. Paul Street and surrounding areas.

During the exercise, 156 grammes of marijuana, 50 rounds of .45mm ammunition, 20 rounds of .56mm ammunition and four rounds of .9mm ammunition were discovered.
