Three charged with murder of Enterprise man

Three men appeared in the Siparia 1st Magistrates’ Court today, charged with the murder of Kendall Kerry Trimm.

The accused are also charged with robbery with violence, possession of a firearm and ammunition and shooting with intent.

Donniel Roberts, 35, of Annabella Street, Couva, Aziz Shah, 26, of Springvale, Claxton Bay and his brother, Aleem Shah, 19, of the same address, stood before Senior Magistrate Armina Deonarinesingh to answer the charges.

Trimm, 27, of Flora Trace, Enterprise, was plying his vehicle for hire along Chase Village Main Road, Chaguanas, on Wednesday 5th April, 2017, when he picked up three men.

The men asked to be taken to Claxton Bay, but later changed the location to Robert Trace, Santa Flora.

The victim’s body was later found sprawled along the roadway at Robert Trace with bullet wounds.

The matter has been adjourned to Tuesday 9th May, 2017.

The men were charged by, WPC Ferguson, following advice received from the Director of Public Prosecutions, Roger Gaspard, SC, on Monday 10th April, 2017.
