The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission is advising the public that there will be a disruption in traffic along the westbound lane of Wrightson road on September 21st from 9:00 pm to 4:00 am, September 25th from 9:00 pm to 4:00 am and on September 27th.
This is to facilitate underground works.
The following is a press release from T&TEC:
"The Trinidad & Tobago Electricity Commission advises that its underground works along the Westbound lane of Wrightson Road will be rescheduled to 9:00 p.m. on September 21st to 4:00 a.m. on September 25th 2018 and from 9:00 p.m. on September 26th 2018 to 4:00 a.m. on September 27th 2018.
The job site starts from the Port-of-Spain Ferry Terminal to Dock Road, into Dock Road just beyond the entrance to the Hyatt Regency Trinidad Hotel. Note: Only the left lane and shoulder will be affected.
Members of the public will be advised on any additional work in a subsequent release.
Motorists are advised to proceed with caution and follow the instructions of the police officers on duty during the momentary interruptions of the free flow of traffic during these underground works.
T&TEC apologises for any inconvenience caused by this disruption, but these works are necessary to improve the reliability and capacity of our sub-transmission system that supplies power to the northwestern part of Trinidad."
