Two men appear in court charged with murder

Two men have appeared before a San Fernando Magistrate, charged with the murder of Kemroy Marshall and wounding with intent against Devon Ross, which occurred on Monday 12th June, 2017.

Andre Floyd, 24, of Byron Street, La Romaine, and Keenan Boyce, 19, of Lillian Street, La Romaine, appeared before San Fernando Magistrate Kerry Ann Byer, in the San Fernando 1st Magistrates’ Court, on Tuesday 27th June, 2017, jointly charged with murder, possession of firearm, possession of ammunition and wounding with intent.

The matter was adjourned to Tuesday 25th July, 2017.

Marshall, 18, of Grace Lane, La Romain and Ross, 21, of Stella Street, La Romain, were liming at Phyllis Street, on Monday 12th June, 2017, when they were shot at by occupants of a silver CK3 Lancer motor vehicle.

The victims received gunshot wounds about their bodies and were taken to the San Fernando General Hospital, where Marshall subsequently died.

Floyd and Boyce, were charged by WPC Trisha Knights of Homicide Region 3, on Tuesday 27th June, 2017, after advice was received from Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions, Joan Honore-Paul, on Monday 26th June, 2017.
