A Princes Town man has been charged with murder and possession of a firearm and ammunition.
Shaquille Jemmott, 23, of Third Branch Road, New Grant, was charged following advice received from Director of Public Prosecutions Roger Gaspard SC last Friday.
He is charged with the murder of Randell Bramble, 29, of Torrib Trace, New Grant, Princes Town, whose body was found by police in an open lot of land at Old Brazil Road, Wallerfield, on June 6, 2020.
Bramble was shot during an incident at the same location on June 4.
After the shooting incident, a report was made to the Valencia Police Post and two suspects were held shortly after in the Wallerfield district in connection with the matter.
One of the suspects was subsequently released. Investigations were supervised by ASP Douglas of the Homicide Bureau of Investigations, Region 3.
Jemmottwas charged by Sgt Lewis of the Arima Police Station last Friday.
