Police officers attached to the Child Protection Unit (CPU) have arrested a 43-year-old man of Princes Town on allegations that he sexually touched a child.

A statement from the Police Service said the man was charged on Wednesday with one count of sexual touching.

He is expected rto appear in court to answer the charge.

The seven-year-old female victim reported to the CPU Southern Division she was allegedly assaulted by the suspect.

Investigations were headed by actingSupt George, acting ASP Sookdeo, supervised by acting Insp Francis and conducted by WPC Quashie-Gay.
