While the government is exploring a hybrid system for public servants, some members of the private sector have mixed views over a work from home policy for its workers. According to the Employer’s Consultative Association, its members have not seen any major improvement in workers’ productivity. And, the Confederation of Regional Business Chambers says even if the fuel subsidy is removed and the cost of travelling becomes more expensive, there are some jobs that just simply can not be done at home.
