The bank said cheque deposits will be facilitated at ABMs or in-branch Express Deposit services only and that requests for manager’s cheques, foreign drafts and wire transfers are to be made using RepublicOnline, email or by reaching out to respective account managers via telephone. In-person requests will not be accepted.
Bill and credit card payments will only be facilitated via RepublicOnline, RepublicMobile, ABM and in-branch Express Deposit services.
It noted that VISA Debit and OneCards can be used at point-of-sale terminals for payments up to TT$10,000 daily.
It added that Cardless Cash can be used to transfer up to TT$1,500 daily to anyone with a mobile phone and that funds can then be withdrawn from any of the bank’s nationwide ABM machines.
The bank is urging clients to limit their in-branch visits as much as possible and utilise the services outlined to do their banking transactions. The bank said that as it continues to comply with government-mandated restrictions, the national community is encouraged to follow all health protocols implemented by the Government of Trinidad and Tobago.
