Road rehabilitation works are scheduled to be carried out on the Churchill Roosevelt Highway, beginning tomorrow, Tuesday 27 October 2020.
An advisory from the Ministry of Works and Transport says there will be a temporary traffic disruption along the westbound lane of the highway, between the Macoya Intersection and the University of the West Indies in St. Augustine.
The Ministry advises that work will be ongoing, daily, between 8:00 pm and 4:30 am.
The road works are expected to wrap up by Tuesday 10th November 2020.
Motorists are asked to proceed with caution and observe all directional signs and barriers, be aware of heavy equipment entering and exiting the work site.
The Ministry also advises that motorists drive at a reduced speed on approaching the work zone, and should drive with caution on all milled (possibly uneven) surfaces.
Motorists also must comply with instructions from Police Officers on site to facilitate a safe and orderly flow of traffic.
