10-year-old Avindhar Singh successfully defended his title at this year’s School’s Intellectual National Chutney Soca Monarch Competition with his song “parents take heed”.
And for the secondary school category, Paris Coutain dethroned Mackhaydon Charles who placed second to win the title with his happy chutney song.
Cameraman Gary Vincent and reporter Carisa Lee were there for all the action.
