A million dollars’ worth of steel is discovered by police in a scrap yard in Chaguanas. The items were stolen from the licensing authority. Scrap iron dealers’ association, president Allan Ferguson said the yard involved in the crime was managed by foreigners and only became a member of the association last week. He added that the ministry of trade and industry can tell who is exporting copper and they can move to have wrongdoers punished. Otto Carrington tells us more.
