Scrap iron workers stage fiery protest in Claxton Bay, promise more to come

The fiery protests involving scrap iron workers are intensifying as they demand that the Government lift a six-month ban on old metal and copper exports.

Even as the police and army remain vigilant, the protesters are threatening to take their protests all the way to Whitehall.

Many of them have criminal records and they say the only place they can get work is in the scrap iron industry.
