PHAGOO was further disqualified from being the holder of a driver’s permit for a period of 30 months as additional inquiries revealed that he was disqualified from being the holder of a driver’s permit for a period of one year in November 2020 when he appeared before the San Fernando Magistrate’s Court.

Around 10:50 am, PC Ramsingh in company with other officers of the Princes Town Municipal Police Station, acting on information received, intercepted a white Mitsubishi Lancer driven by a man and requested his driving particulars. The driver presented a driver’s permit, in which the picture did not match his physical description. Upon request of another form of identification, the driver presented a Trinidad and Tobago National Identification Card which matched his physical description but was in a different name from the driver’s permit presented. He was arrested and subsequently charged for the offences, having confessed to borrowing his friend’s driver’s permit.
