Kareem Freitas scored a brace as Police took down the Defence Force 3-2 in the TT Pro League on Saturday night at the Ato Boldon Stadium.
Shakuile Williams opened the scoring in only the second minute of the game, and Police held on to that 1-0 lead to take it into the half. Three minutes into the second half, Devorn Jorsling equalised for the army from a free kick outside of the penalty box.
However, Freitas gave Police the lead again five minutes later. He made it 3-1 from the penalty spot in the 71st minute. Jamille Boatswain did pull a goal back for the Defence Force in the 87th minute, but it ended 3-2 to Police.
