What started out as a small show of solidarity for the black lives matter movement outside the US embassy, quickly grew into a sizeable gathering. As demonstrators became emotional over the cause, police were called in and officers found themselves at the centre of some tense moments. But police commissioner Gary Griffith says the demonstrators were spared the brunt of the law today. This as he says he understands their pain and stands in solidarity with their cause.
