Anti-Kidnapping Squad now involved in search for missing woman

The Anti-Kidnapping Squad is now investigating the disappearance of 45-year-old Anita Mohammed.

Mohammed was last seen driving a Toyota Hilux on Wednesday.

She indicated to relatives that she was going to the grocery.

However, after the mother of two failed to return to her Freeport home a report was made to both the Couva and Chaguanas police stations.

Mohammed is of East Indian descent, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, slim-built with shoulder-length hair.

Anti-Kidnapping Squad finds missing Arouca teen

A 15-year-old missing teenager has been rescued by the Anti-Kidnapping Squad, a statement by the Police Service says.

The statement says Sapphire Charles, a 15-year-old of Bon Air Gardens, Arouca, who was reported missing by her mother, Gillian Richard-Charles on Tuesday 21st February, 2017, was found by officers of the
Anti-Kidnapping Unit.

It adds that members of the Child Protection Unit are continuing investigations.

In the statement, the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service thanks the public for its assistance in ensuring the teenager’s safe return.
