The THA Division of Infrastructure, Quarries and the Environment has complete Phase 1 of the Buccoo Waterfront Enhancement Project.
The installation of concrete benches was a part of phase 1 of a project that will also see a pedestrian walkway and railings installed.
The aim is to create a relaxing spot for fishermen, tourists and villagers in one of Tobago's most popular villages.
The concrete benched were produced by the Concrete Products Unit, Unemployment Relief Programme (URP).
A Buccoo man charged with office breaking and larceny against the Tobago Regional Health Authority, has appeared before a Scarborough Magistrate to answer the charge.
Devon Roachford aka ‘Black Boy’, a 36-year-old fisherman, of Chance Street, Buccoo, appeared before Magistrate Brian Debideen, in the Scarborough Magistrates’ Court, on Monday 2nd July, 2018, where he was denied bail and remanded into custody until Monday 30th July, 2018.
Tobago has recorded its third murder with the drive-by killing of a man last night.
Junior “Coppa” Roberts was shot multiple times at Buccoo, Tobago.
According to police reports, Roberts was driving when a car pulled alongside and the assailants fired on him.
He was rushed to the Scarborough General Hospital where he later died.
Tobago registered a total of four murders in 2016.
