Dr Keith Rowley has once again reshuffled his cabinet, in a press release sent just after midnight the Prime Minister stated that he advised Her Excellency President Paula Mae Weekes about the changes to his cabinet. One substantial change is revocation of the appointment of Major General (Retired) Edmund Dillon as Minister of National Security.
The other changes are as follows: (i) Revoke the appointment of Mr Maxie Cuffie as Minister in the Ministry of Public Administration. Mr Cuffie will now serve as Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of Public Administration.
The Chaguanas Chamber of Industry and Commerce is welcoming the changes made to the Cabinet.

Well-placed sources told Guardian Media that shake ups are coming in the Ministries of the Attorney General, National Security, Health, Foreign Affairs, Public Utilities, Sports and Energy.
In January, Prime Minister Rowley added Foreign Affairs Minister Dennis Moses and former Assistant Commissioner of Police, Toco/Sangre Grande MP Glenda Jennings Smith to the crime fighting arsenal at the Ministry of National Security.
