Former government minister Devant Maharaj is questioning whether attorney Elaine Green will continue to receive state briefs, given the outcome of the Darryl Smith Report.
The report has been discarded. It was commissioned by the prime minister, to determine the circumstances surrounding the dismissal of Smith's personal assistant, after she filed a wrongful dismissal lawsuit and sexual harassment claims against him.
Former executive member of the Sanatan Dharma Maha Sabha, Devant Maharaj, has condemned the position taken by Sat Maharaj and is calling on others to denounce what he calls, Sat's "hateful rhetoric".
Devant Maharaj says he cannot, with good conscience, stand back and allow Sat's statements on Tobago to go without response.
He issued the following statement Thursday morning.
In the latest' phone wars' twist, Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley has called former Food Production Minister Devant Maharaj a 'dangerous liar.'
After releasing the PM's personal number, Dr Rowley indicated he would have to disconnect his number because of threatening messages he had received.
But in a post to his Facebook page today, Dr Rowley asked, "Did Devant give you my new number?"
