Police seize guns, ammunition in Diego Martin

Police have seized two shotguns and three rounds of ammunition in Sea Trace, Diego Martin.

According to reports, officers of the Western Division Task Force were conducting enquiries at River Road, Sea Trace, Diego Martin, in an area commonly called the "Pine" around 12:30 am today.

While there, the officers received information that led them to a nearby bamboo patch and found and seized two shot guns and three rounds of 12-gauge cartridges.

No one was arrested.

Investigations are continuing.

Three shot in Diego Martin

Three people have been shot in Diego Martin and are now nursing gunshot wounds at hospital.

According to reports, the men were on their way to a house in Mary Avenue where they are employed to do repairs.

Reports indicate that as they were arriving at the house this morning, a gunman approached the vehicle and fired several shots at the driver, identified as Rondell Ali.

Ali was shot several times about his body but is reported to be in a stable condition at hospital.

Diego Martin husband and wife held for drugs, weapon, camouflage outfits

Police have charged a husband and wife from Diego Martin after carrying out a raid on their home and finding a firearm, ammunition, marijuana and camouflage outfits.

The couple has been identified as 34-year-old Luke Camacho and 30-year-old Jenna Marie Camacho.

According to a police report, officers of the Inter-Agency Task Force Operation H.O.P.E executed a search warrant around 4:55am on Monday.

The search was led by Sergeant Ross of the Inter-Agency Task Force.

Police seize assault rifle, ammunition & weed in Diego Martin

According to reports. officers of the Western Division Task Force under the supervision of Senior Superintendent Ramdhanie acted on information they received around 6am today, when they proceeded to a river bank on Davidson Drive, La Puerta.

The officers found a Russian-made assault rifle containing five rounds of ammunition along with 500 grams of marijuana.

No one arrested and inquiries are continuing.

In an unrelated incident, police have also arrested two from Bagatelle, Diego Martin, for possession of marijuana.

The men were arrested on Bagatelle Road.

Five shot in La Puerta, Diego Martin; one confirmed dead

Police are currently at the scene of a shooting incident in La Puerta, Diego Martin.

According to police reports, two men entered the Spec's Cut Barber Shop and attempted to rob the establishment of tickets to a fete known as "China Town" that were being sold there.

Police say an off-duty police officer engaged the robbers and in the crossfire, one man was shot dead and four others injured.

The injured were taken to the St James hospital for treatment.

Five shot in Diego Martin

Police are currently at the scene of a shooting incident in La Puerta, Diego Martin.

Earlier indications suggest that gunmen opened fire at someone inside a barber shop, hitting five people in the process.

Preliminary reports indicate that one man was killed and four others injured.

The injured have been rushed to the St James hospital.

Murder in Diego Martin

Police are investigating the murder of a man at the corner of Gopaul Avenue and the Diego Martin Main Road.

Initial reports indicated that the man was standing near a car parts store at the corner of Gopaul Avenue around 3 pm, when a vehicle pulled up.

One man is said to have come out of the vehicle and fired several shots at the victim.

The assailant then made good his escape in the vehicle that was being driven by another man.

The victim died on the spot.

Double murder in Diego Martin

Two brothers were shot and killed in Diego Martin this morning.

They have been identified as 32-year-old Joshua Johnson and his mentally-challenged brother 29-year-old Jerome Johnson.

The men were shot multiple times around 9.30 am.

The motive for the double shooting is unclear at this time but police say one of the men was involved in a life of crime.
