The Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries at Tower C of the International Waterfront Centre was evacuated earlier today.
Reports reaching Guardian Media indicate at around 10.30 am the fire alarm sounded, which prompted workers to immediately vacate the building.
The Fire Services arrived on the scene shortly after.
Unconfirmed reports reaching Guardian Media indicate a small electrical fire occurred on the 24th floor of the building.

A Republic Bank employee attached to the Valsayn Branch, identified as Seon Solomon, has died from injuries he sustained weeks ago.
Earlier this month, Seon Solomon got into an altercation with someone in the St Joseph area while liming.
Reports are the individual threw a flammable substance on Solomon, and then set him on fire.

Fire officers were called to extinguish a fire which started suddenly in the tray of a pick of truck which was parked in Woodbrook.
