Hurricane Matthew has also claimed its first US victims in St. Lucie County, Florida.
Two people died overnight when emergency officials could not get to them because of the storm's strong winds.
One victim, a woman in her late 50s, died from cardiac arrest, according to St. Lucie fire department officials.
Crews could not safely respond to her location and the woman died by the time crews arrived, officials said.
Later in the night, there was a report of an unconscious 82-year-old man breathing with difficulty.
The number of people killed by Hurricane Matthew in Haiti rose to at least 572 on Friday, as information trickled in from remote areas that were cut off by the storm, officials said.
With fatalities rising quickly, different government agencies and committees differed on the total death toll.
Count of deaths reported by civil protection and local officials confirmed 572 people had lost their lives.
Hurricane Matthew has claimed at least 65 lives in Haiti, taking the death toll from the hurricane to 69 so far.
The Category 3 hurricane is now heading to the Bahamas and Florida and is expected to gain strength again.
Haiti´s civil protection service put the toll at 23 dead, noting that many were killed by falling trees, flying debris and swollen rivers.
However the Interior Ministry, a mayor and other local officials confirmed 42 other deaths across Haiti, which is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere.
Hurricane Matthew has already affected one event related to this weekend's Miami Carnival which is attended annually by thousands of T&T nationals.
Tribe has been forced to postpone its IGNITE Miami fete carded for Thursday as a result of the weather.

"As many of you are aware a State of Emergency has been declared throughout the state of Florida due to the impending impact from Hurricane Matthew.
Florida Governor Rick Scott has declared a state of emergency throughout all of Florida as category 4 Hurricane Matthew approaches the US state.
It comes as thousands of T&T nationals prepare to travel to Miami this coming weekend for the annual Miami Carnival.
There has been NO INDICATION whether the state of emergency or the hurricane will affect the weekend's festivities as it is still too early to tell.
Hurricane Matthew has claimed two more lives this time in Haiti even before it fully hits the hemisphere's poorest nation.
It brings to four, the number of people killed by the deadly system.
The two deaths are those of fishermen who were caught in rough water churned up by the storm.
A boat carrying one of the men capsized early Monday off the tiny southwestern fishing town of Saint Jean du Sud as he was trying to bring his wooden skiff to shore.
The body of the other was recovered a short time later off the nearby town of Aquin after he apparently drowned.
