Miss World T&T, Ysabel Bisnath has made it into the top 12 of the Beauty with a purpose project at the Miss World competition.
The official Facebook page of the Miss T&T World congratulated Miss Bisnath saying:
"Huge Congratulations to our Miss World TT 2018 for making it into the top12 Beauty with a purpose projects at Miss World.
You are representing our twin island phenomenally."
The Beauty With A Purpose project started back in 1972 and is at the heart of the competition.
The Miss World Trinidad and Tobago Organization says it has moved into phase two of its screening process for the Miss World Trinidad and Tobago 2017 pageant.
The organisation says it has chosen 14 "lovely young ladies" who will compete in a series of challenges.
The top 8 will be announced before the end of the month, as they will compete in the national pageant in July 2017 for the title of Miss World Trinidad and Tobago.
The names are:
Daniella Walcott is the new Miss World Trinidad and Tobago.
She took the crown on Friday, succeeding Kimberly Farrah-Singh.

"The Miss World Trinidad and Tobago is pleased to announce the Crowning of Ms Daniella Walcott as Miss World Trinidad and Tobago. Last evening at the picturesque Cara Suites and Conference Centre, our country’s representative to the Miss World Pageant 2016 was crowned.
The Miss World Trinidad and Tobago Organisation is this morning refuting a claim made by a close relative of Miss World T&T Kimberly Farrah Singh, that she was left stranded in China without enough money for luggage.
The organisation issued a statement saying Singh was given enough money and added that it has also intervened again to ensure that she makes it home.

A close relative of Miss World Trinidad and Tobago, Kimberly Farrah Singh, has posted on Facebook that Singh has been left in China without money to bring home all her luggage .
Renata Singh put up the post around midnight, appealing to anyone capable of reaching the Miss World T&T Organisation to send a message out to them.
The post reads:
Trinidad and Tobago's Miss World candidate was not in winner's row in two competitions in Sanya, China last night, but is high in praise of two other Caribbean contestants.
Miss T&T Kimberly Farrah Singh posted on Facebook today, in local parlance;
"Doh mess wid de Caribbean girls!! Miss Guyana, Lisa Punch, just won the Talent Challenge and Miss Jamaica, Sanneta Myrie came third. Congratulations Lisa and Sanneta you were amazing and did the Caribbean proud!"
With just five days to go to the Miss World Pageant in Sanya, China, Miss World Trinidad and Tobago, Kimberly Farrah Singh is saying thanks to the people of Trinidad and Tobago for the love and support she has been receiving.
Singh uploaded a short video on Facebook earlier today expressing her appreciation.

The pageant will be hld in Sanya, China on Saturday 19th December, 2015.

Trinidad and Tobago's Miss World represenative, Kimberly Farrah Singh continues her preparation for the pageant in Sanya, China on December 19th.
China has lifted restrictions on the use of Facebook to allow contestants to post photos and Singh has been using this platform to report back on her progress.
