TTPS calls for media balance not bias

The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) has issued an official statement advising CCN and the Trinidad Express to avoid abusing the freedom of the press, and to stop engaging in biased reporting.

In the statement issued today, the Police Service expresses concern that an employee of the media house may be advancing a particular agenda, namely, to discredit and attack the Commissioner of Police.

Ronaldo under fire after throwing reporter's microphone into a lake

Portugal star football Cristiano Ronaldo is coming under fire after he threw a television reporter's microphone in a lake.

The reporter believes negative press might have been the reason for his reaction.

Diogo Torres of CMTV tried to conduct a live interview with the Portugal forward early on Wednesday when the incident happened.

Portugal is preparing for their final Group F game against Hungary later in the day.
