This weekend's Festival of the Bands that was due to take place over two days on Saturday and Sunday, has been reduced to just one day - Saturday and the venue has been changed to the Jean Pierre Complex.
The announcement was made of Tribe Carnival's Facebook page, attributing the change to the weather.
It's the middle of the unofficial second Carnival season, as several large bands have been launching their 2018 presentations.
Three major bands were launched on Saturday night in an event labelled 'Festival of the Bands' at the St Mary's College Grounds - The Lost Tribe presenting 'Seven', Tribe presenting 'Once Upon a Dream' and Bliss presenting 'Dolce Vita'.
Harts and Paparazzi are among other bands to have already launched their 2018 presentations.
The following are some images of Saturday's launch.
Tribe Carnival will once again be the band with the international celebrities for this year's Carnival Parade of Bands.
The band is playing host to American model and designer Amber Rose for a second straight year.
Rose played with the band last year and was high in praise of this country's Carnival and natural beauty. She even posted on social media sites Instagram and Twitter, that this was one of the best places she had even been to.
