Residents in parts of South Trinidad are being advised of a disruption in their water supply on Tuesday.
The Water and Sewage Authority (WASA) says it will be conducting maintenance work to the Point Fortin Desalination Plant, resulting in an interruption in water supply between 8 am and 10 pm.
The areas to be affected will include Point Fortin, Parrylands, Sobo Extension, Cochrane, Brighton, Cato, Union, Vessigny, Mahaica, Fanny Village, Guapo, New Village, Clifton Hill, Vance River and parts of La Brea.
The Water and Sewerage Authority is advising of water disruptions for Sangre Grande and several other North-Eastern communities for most of Friday.
The Authority issued this statement today:
"The Water and Sewerage Authority advises customers in parts of North East Trinidad, served by the North Oropouche Water Treatment Plant that there will be an interruption in their water supply on Friday 22nd April 2016 between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
This has become necessary in order to facilitate electrical upgrade works at the Plant.
Residents of several parts of Central Trinidad will experience disruptions in their water supply from 8am tomorrow.
The following is a statement from WASA:
"The Water and Sewerage Authority advises customers in parts of Central Trinidad that there will be an interruption in their water supply on Thursday 3rd March 2016 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
This has become necessary in order to facilitate an interconnection along the Caparo Valley Road, in the vicinity of the Longdenville Booster Station.
