Residents of Tamana hill road have had almost dry taps for over three years now. They say they are waiting on WASA to fulfil a promise for a booster station. A promise made a very long time ago. It’s made life hard in Salmadie village and is costing them money. And if unfulfilled promises didn’t hurt them enough, they say the behaviour of the water truck providers from their regional corporation has them at their tipping point.
