Temporary traffic disruption: Churchill Roosevelt Highway-Westbound

The Ministry of Works and Transport is advising the public of the temporary traffic disruption along the Churchill Roosevelt Highway between Maloney and Piarco Intersection (Westbound).

According to this release from the Ministry of Works, this is necessary to facilitate road rehabilitation works from Tuesday 15th March, 2022 to Thursday 24th March, 2022. Details follow in this release from MOWT:

The Ministry of Works and Transport wishes to advise the public that there will be a temporary traffic disruption along the Churchill Roosevelt Highway between Maloney and Piarco Intersection (Westbound).

The disruption will take place from Tuesday 15th March, 2022 to Thursday 24th March, 2022. This has become necessary to facilitate road rehabilitation works.

Hours of Work: 9:00AM to 5:30PM

Considering the above, motorists are advised to comply with the following: –

• Please proceed with caution and observe all directional signs and barriers.

• Please comply with instructions from Police Officers on site to facilitate a safe and orderly flow of traffic.

• Please be aware of heavy equipment entering and exiting the site.

• Please drive with caution on all milled (possibly uneven) surfaces.

• Motorists should drive at a reduced speed on approaching the work zone.
