Three men ages 43, 41 and 25 are currently in police custody on allegations of robbery.

According to a police report, the men were arrested in connection with the robbery of a police officer in Chaguanas three weeks ago.

According to a police report, at about 7.30 pm on Saturday, officers of the North Eastern Division Task Force acted on intelligence received and went to an address at the Croisee in San Juan.

A search warrant was executed in the presence of the three suspects and several of the items reportedly stolen from the police officer were recovered.

All three suspects were taken into custody and are said to be assisting officers with their investigations.

The operation was coordinated by Snr Supt Maharaj and included Supt Alexander, ASP Parriman, Insp Ramsingh, and Sgt Bharath, among others.
