Three men have been arrested and charged by officers of the Marabella Police Station, for possession of marijuana for trafficking.
According to police reports, during the exercise, searches were conducted at several homes, at one of the homes in Woodland Road, Cedar Hill, 404 grammes of marijuana was found and seized. Steven Ramrattan 32, was arrested and charged.
As the exercise continued, a house in St James Street, Marabella was also searched and 3.9 kilograms of marijuana was found in a wardrobe in a bedroom.
The two occupants 27-year-old Kyle Yarde and 25-year-old Janelle Hernandez were arrested and charged.
They are all expected to appear virtually at the Princes Town Magistrates’ Court today, to answer to the charges
The exercise was coordinated by Snr. Supt Winchester, Asp Ramdass and supervised by Sgt. Ifill and included the Canine Unit.
