Northern Division police arrested three persons and recovered a stolen vehicle, during an anti-crime exercise conducted in the Blanchisseuse district this morning.
During the exercise, which was conducted between 12:05 am and 3:30 am, officers proceeded to the La Fillette Fishing Depot, Paria Main Road, where the vehicle was recovered, and the three suspects arrested.
The silver Nissan B15 vehicle had been stolen from the Santa Cruz district on the same day.
The three male suspects, ranging in ages 18 to 28 years, all hail from Moraldo Trace, Upper Santa Cruz.
They were arrested for robbery with aggravation and false imprisonment.
Corporal Ramkisson is continuing investigations.
The anti-crime exercise was supervised by Ag Cpl. Archie and included officers of the Blanchisseuse Police Station and the officers of the Criminal Investigation Department, Santa Cruz.
