Three wounded in Belmont shooting

A 16-year-old boy was among three people wounded during a shooting incident in Belmont. According to a police report, at about 1.08 pm, the three men were sitting on a truck at Hermitage Road, Belmont, when a gunman approached them and opened fire on them.

The boy was shot in the right hand, and the two other men, ages 24 and 22, were also shot and wounded. Officers from the Port of Spain Task Force took them to the Port-of-Spain General Hospital, where they were treated.
