The Tobago House of Assembly has quarantined 62 nationals of Trinidad and Tobago at an undisclosed location on the island, as of March 23.
According to a release from the Division of Health, the nationals who returned from regional and international countries, have been quarantined for the required 14-day period.
Of the 62, two fell ill on March 22 and were taken to the Scarborough General Hospital for COVID-19 tests.
The health department is awaiting the results, the release said.
It noted that the other 60 persons are in good health and show no flu-like symptoms.
The THA release noted that the quarantined nationals are given a medical check-up twice per day, three meals, care packages from friends and relatives and reside in self-contained rooms.
