A 68-year-old female from Bon Accord is Tobago’s third death due to COVID-19. According to a release from the Tobago Regional Health Authority the woman who also had comorbidities succumbed to COVID-19 related symptoms yesterday (May 9).
The last time the island recorded a death was in September last year when a 57-year-old woman of Scarborough who also had pre-existing health conditions died. The island’s first fatality was recorded in April, an elderly male of Moriah with pre-existing health conditions. As of May 9, the island recorded no new COVID-19 cases and 59 active cases
