SERGEANT SHURLAND BECKLES

The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) is extending condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of No. 16140 SERGEANT SHURLAND BECKLES, who passed away due to a heart attack on Tuesday 11th January, 2022, at the Arima Hospital.

Sgt Beckles was describes as a very pleasant and caring officer, and a friend to all.” He will be remembered as an officer who was very easygoing, who also took the time to get his work done and made sure his colleagues were comfortable at the workplace. Commissioner of Police (Ag.), Mc Donald Jacob and the Executive of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS), share their deepest condolences with the family, friends and colleagues of No. 16140 SERGEANT SHURLAND BECKLES, who passed away due to a heart attack on Tuesday 11th January, 2022, at the Arima Hospital.

Sgt Beckles, 41, who enlisted as a Police Officer on September 3rd, 2001, was last attached to the Arima Police Station, Northern Division.

Inspector Keavin Greene of the Northern Division, shared that, “The death of Sgt Beckles is a great loss to the Arima Police Station and by extension the TTPS. He was a very pleasant and caring officer, and a friend to all.”

Sgt Beckles will be remembered as an officer who was very easygoing, who also took the time to get his work done and made sure his colleagues were comfortable at the workplace.
