The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) says that it notes several media enquiries surrounding the possible effects of the recently conducted exercise involving contracted officers and that in this regard, at this time, the TTPS asserts, that all operations and services continue unabated.

The TTPS, through its Executive, says units that are affected by the loss of one staff member or the other, will function with all available resources, inclusive of the personnel currently attached to serve all citizens.

Deputy Commissioner of Police, Intelligence and Investigations (Ag.), Mc Donald Jacob, says, as is customary with most organisations, staffing arrangements may come under review, and where necessary, new persons may be hired to fill vacancy.
