Officers of the Southern Division arrested two minors following a report of a robbery with violence against a 42-year-old security guard.
According to police reports, the victim reported to police that he was on duty at a supermarket at Union Road, Marabella, around 3 pm, yesterday, when he was approached by a male suspect who ordered him to hand over his firearm.

The victim refused and a struggle ensued, during which the firearm was discharged once. The suspect then bit the victim on his left arm and took possession of the weapon before escaping. A report was made to the police and officers of the Marabella Police Station, Criminal Investigations Department and the Southern Division Task Force responded. Two suspects, ages 14 and 15 years-old both of South Trinidad were subsequently arrested in connection with the incident. Investigations are ongoing.
