Two women and one man are among Tobago’s latest COVID-19 fatalities, recorded on Wednesday 29 December 2021, in the latest update from the Division of Health, Wellness and Social Protection, in the Tobago House of Assembly (THA).

Two women and one man are among Tobago’s latest COVID-19 fatalities, recorded on Wednesday 29 December 2021, in the latest update from the Division of Health, Wellness and Social Protection, in the Tobago House of Assembly (THA).

According to the update, one person was a 53-year-old woman with no comorbidities; another was a 76-year-old woman with comorbidities; and the third fatality was a 26-year-old male with comorbidities.

These recent deaths bring the total on the island, since March 2020, to 191 lives lost.

Also in the update, 34 new positive COVID-19 cases were recorded, brining the current number of active positive cases to 1,366.
