WASA: Disruption to customers served by Navet and Maraval Plants

The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) is advising that parts of South East Trinidad served by the Navet Water Treatment Plant will see a disruption in their pipe borne water supply on Wednesday 1st December 2021, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Customers in North-West Trinidad served by the Maraval Water Treatment Plant will also experience an interruption in their water supply on Wednesday 1st December 2021, between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. This is necessary to carry out maintenance at both plants. The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers in parts of South East Trinidad served by the Navet Water Treatment Plant that, there will be a disruption in their pipe borne water supply on Wednesday 1st December 2021, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. This has become necessary in order to carry out mechanical maintenance works at the facility.

Areas affected include: Tableland, Libertville, Robert Village, George Village, Rio Claro, Rio Claro Tabaquite Road, Deep Ravine, Agostini, Clearwater, Cunapo Southern Main Road, Biche, Plum Mitan, Charuma, New Grant, Hardbargain, Craignish Village, Matilda, St. Julien, Indian Walk, Hindustan, St. Mary’s Village Moruga, Cunjal, Cumuto, Whiteland, Poonah, Piparo, Mirne Roche, Princes Town, Manahambre, Iere Village, Sisters Road, Buen Intento, Malgretoute, Williamsville, Barrackpore, Bronte, Borde Narve and Penal Rock Road.

Customers are further advised that it may take up to 48 hours for the supply to be restored to some affected areas following the completion of repairs.

Additionally, customers in North-West Trinidad served by the Maraval Water Treatment Plant will also experience an interruption in their water supply on Wednesday 1stDecember 2021, between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. This is in order to carryout maintenance at the plant.

Areas to be affected are: Hillsboro, Lynch Drive, Valleton Street, Collins Road and environs, Fairways, Bergerac Road, Valleton Street, Collins Road, Morne Coco Road, La Seiva, Andalusia.

Customers are further advised that it may take up to 24 hours for the supply to be restored to some affected areas following the completion of repairs.
