The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers in parts of
Central Trinidad served by the Dow Village Booster Station, who are presently
experiencing an interruption in their pipe borne water supply that this is due to a
rupture on the discharge pipeline, which occurred at the facility last evening –
Wednesday 22nd April 2020.
Emergency repair work currently underway at the new Dow Village Booster
Station, is expected to be completed by 9:00 p.m. today – Thursday 23rd April,
2020.
Areas to be affected include:
•Windsor Park •Dow Village
•Mt. Pleasant •Diamond
•Milton •Esperanza
•Carolina •Basta Hall
•Balmain •Balmain Gardens
•Indian Trail
Customers are advised that it may take up to 24 hours for the service to normalize to some affected areas in accordance with pipe-borne water supply schedules.
A limited truck borne water supply is available, with priority given to health care
institutions and homes for the aged. For further information or assistance,
