The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) says customers served by the Tucker Valley Pumping will experience an interruption in their pipe borne water supply on October 7th between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm tomorrow. The following is a press release from WASA:
The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers served by the Tucker Valley Pumping Station that there will be an interruption in their pipe borne water supply on Thursday 2021 October 7, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
This is due to upgrade of the power supply by the Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC), in order to facilitate ongoing rehabilitation works at the Tucker Valley Pump Station. Areas affected include: Chaguaramas, Carenage, Big Yard, Abbe Poujade Street, Gittens Dale, Haig Street, School Street, Glencoe Estate, West Vale, The Park and Gulf View.
Customers are advised that it may take up to 12 hours for the water supply to normalize to some affected areas following the resumption of operations at the facility. A limited truck-borne water service will be available upon request. For further information or assistance, customers are asked to contact WASA’s Customer Call Centre toll free at 800-4420/4426. The Authority apologises for the inconvenience and thanks customers for their patience and understanding.
