Water disruption in Western Trinidad

The Water and Sewerage Authority is advising customers served by
the Tucker Valley Pumping Station via School Street Booster Station that there will
be an interruption in their pipe borne water supply on Monday 20th April 2020,
between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.
In a press release issued today, the Authority said, this has become necessary in order to facilitate repairs to a 12” diameter transmission pipeline, along the Western Main Road, Carenage, in the vicinity of Smith Hill.

Areas to be affected include:
Along Western Main Road from School Street Carenage, to La Horquette Valley
Road, Glencoe (inclusive of all side streets).
Customers are advised that it may take up to 24 hours for the service to
normalize to some affected areas in accordance with pipe-borne water supply
schedules.
