The Water and Sewerage Authority is advising the customers in parts of Trincity/ Lower Five Rivers of an interruption in their water supply on Monday 28th March 2022, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

According to this release it has become necessary to facilitate urgent pipeline interconnection works along Golden Grove Road. Details follow in this press release from WASA:

The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers in parts of Trincity/ Lower Five Rivers that there will be an interruption in their scheduled pipe borne supply on Monday 28th March 2022, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

This has become necessary in order to facilitate urgent pipeline interconnection works along Golden Grove Road, in keeping with the planned traffic disruption in the area by the Ministry of Works, in order to enable the relocation of the Golden Grove Bridge.

The affected areas include:

  • Lower Five Rivers (1st Street to 9th Street, Rainbow Crescent, Howell Settlement and White Drive)
  • Millennium Park
  • Sunrise Park
  • Maximum Security Prison and
  • Trincity Commercial Centre
